Regional Manager Civil Engineer

Phenicia Conseil for a Group multi-national that is developing large construction projects in Africa related to Housing, Social Equipment’s and Infrastructures and that is developing important new projects in Senegal, is looking for a:

 Regional Manager, Civil Engineer

Local contract, Senegal

 Responsibilities:

 Mission OPC of construction sites in several regions of Senegal

–         Relationship and coordination of the ‘Bureau de Controle’

–         Perform all necessary tasks to obtain all building authorizations (permits and others, if necessary)

–         Head of Health, Safety, Environment and on-site team coordinator

–         Coordination of sites supervisors

–         Control of schedules: execution of works, supplies of e-materials, equipment and their assembly

–         Contact with the local authorities for all necessary steps

–         Responsible for developing and monitoring logistical requirements

 

Skills Education and Experience:

 –         Have A University Degree in Civil Engineering

–         Have at least 10 years of experience in OPC and MOEX missions in public works in Senegal

–         Have knowledge of site scheduling and management

–         Have communication skills (constant contact with subcontractors, supervisors and supervisors

–         Be proficient in computer tools (Word, Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD)

–         Proficiency in professional English and French

–         Be geographically mobile on Senegalese territory

–         Experience in similar projects/tasks

–         Knowledge of Senegal market
