Marketing Manager

Phénicia, conseil a leading executive search and recruitment firm, is currently recruiting an Expat Marketing Manager for one of its international clients.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the CEO based in Lubumbashi (DR Congo), you will draw up and implement the company’s marketing strategy in relation with the communication, sales, editorial and distribution services. The customer distributes equipment and mining products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the medium and long‑term product strategy, oversee new product launches, and contribute to commercial objectives.
• Lead, recruit, organize, and motivate the team while developing its skills.
• Design product, pricing, and communication policies, select partner agencies, and manage the service budget.
• Conduct creative and technological monitoring to propose new solutions.
• Structure and supervise departmental operations, recruitment, skills, including budget management.
• Ensure effective coordination with editorial, distribution, sales, marketing, and communication teams.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and internal departments, and present key information during editorial, commercial, and marketing meetings.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the position of Marketing Manager;
• Five-years degree or MBA in Marketing.
• Experience in the field of earthmoving or mining,

• Experience & Expertise: Strong strategic marketing, research, and editorial workflow capabilities;
• Digital & E‑commerce: Applies advanced web marketing and e‑commerce techniques, maintaining active creative and technological monitoring;
• Planning & Strategy: Defines annual objectives, validates operational strategy, and drives cross‑departmental product marketing execution;
• Product & Market Insight: Optimizes product mix, supports launch decisions, and proposes new products through strong market insight and trend anticipation;
• Data, Compliance & Editorial: Uses commercial data to refine strategy, ensures regulatory compliance, monitors performance, and contributes to editorial policy.
