General Manager Multi Brand Service Automotive

For a leading Automotive division of a very diversified group based in middle east, with more than 5000 employees and an international presence Phénicia Conseil is looking for a:

 General Manager Multi Brand Service Automotive, expat contract/based in Jeddah (KSA)

He/she will serve as a key member of the operations team and will report directly to the COO Automotive

POSITION SUMMARY and RESPONSABILITIES:

• You will lead approx. 25 multi-brand highly professional service workshops with plans to open another 100 in the next three years.
• You will have full P&L responsibilities for the current and future sites including Opex and Capex.
• You will serve and support your team to sell spare parts and services with a range of add-on products, whilst ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times.
• You will define the price positioning of the actual and future facilities in line with local competitive country’s market practices and ensure the profitability of the product and service line for all players in the chain.
• You will be responsible for conducting market research to implement our strategy and approach.
• As part of the Executive Team the GM will manage the product lines while respecting range development strategies to be in line with the multi-brand concept.
• You will play a key role in setting our long-term strategy for global expansion of the multi brand service offer and presence in order to reach a double-digit growth in few years, ensuring a sustainable and profitable expansion.

SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualifications: Technical Qualification or Bachelor’s Degree or an MBA
• Experience: Minimum of 15 or more years of experience leading teams of people and projects out of which at least 8 or more years of Multi Brand after sales service experience in a leadership role.
• Previous experience of working in major dealer groups with multiple brands, esp. Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan etc will be an added advantage.
• Previous working experience in Middle East area will be preferable but will not be seen as a disadvantage.
• Negotiation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English Arabic Language skills desired, not mandatory,
• Well-organized, dependable, self-sufficient
