Phénicia Conseil Group is looking for a CFO/COO for a multi-national group with a vast overall experience in developing, designing, implementing and managing sustainable, long-term and large-scale turnkey projects, working in collaboration with governmental and private entities and providing financing solutions whenever necessary. A group who is, dedicated in meeting the most diverse needs of developing countries and growing societies around the world.
The CFO-COO will be based in Ivory Coast and responsible for Ivory Coast and Senegal finances and operations. He/She will report to the company’s COO, which is based in the Head Quarter as part of the Operations Division, while interfacing and working closely with all the business in Africa
The Country Manager as per Ivory Coast & Senegal is responsible for the business, and the CFO&COO is responsible for the finances and operations
He/She must have must bring strong finance management experience, and people management, preferably across cultures and remote sites.
As this is a relatively new operation in these sites, the team will grow from about 5 people to a bigger team with time and as the activity will develop
As COO in a highly projects focused company with many employees, He/She must be able to manage that operation, from a people perspective, ex-pats, labor and management levels. Manage everything related to employees including food, transportation, internal moves within the company between projects and geographies
-Know how to build and sign on agreements with external bodies and government entities
-Management of logistics aspects and procurement
With time and growth, the role may be also separated into two roles:CFO,COO
The candidate must bring management experience while being very hands-on Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or economics with a master degree in finance/related studies.
Independent yet delegate as it is a highly matrix oriented company,10 + years of successful experience as a senior level
executive preferably in International environment and different projects
Demonstrable responsibility in a COO or equivalent financial and operational leadership role
Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation
-Proactive and service oriented
-Flexible thinker and sensitive to company complexity
-Must bring a similar DNA of 3XH = Humble, Honest, Hungry
-Able to work in a dynamic, complex company, hard worker, caring and professional
-Having built operations from scratch or a low-volume to an operating effective growing operations.
-Experience in Africa is an advantage, but not a must
-Languages: Fluent French & English,Hebrew-Advantage
-Excellent communication skills, in a multi-cultural environment
-Solution oriented and able to work under pressure and timelines
