Job description

Working based and living in Senegal, He/She will have the Management & Control of all the components of large scale projects (constructions and others) in coordination with all team members:

• Managing the contracts with customer, financial bodies, subcontractors for all financial, budget, costs, operational and logistic aspects
• Planning, Timetables, Milestones
• Equipment importation – Release process, Quality, Warranty, Liability etc
• Foreseeing problems in advance and finding solutions

Skills and Requirements

• Experience in leading complex projects and defining processes and procedures to deliver on quality and on time large projects
• Experience in working in matrix model with the entire ecosystem required to run such projects (architects, construction, medical, etc.)
• The candidate should be autonomous and independent to run while consistently synchronized with his management
• Ability to define and implement processes and procedures to build a repeatable model of project management
• Outstanding performer, with a broad vision and capable of dealing with fine details
• Flexible can adapt to changes, creative and able to solve challenging and complex situations with unorthodox solutions.
• Familiar with commercial contracts and bank terms in Senegal
• Can work under pressure, can manage to work in uncertainty, changing conditions
• Mission oriented, driven to succeed and achieves mission objectives and goals
• Experience monitoring KPIs

Experiences and Education

• At least 10 years of experience in large scale projects in Senegal
• A professional manager with relevant theoretical and practical experience
• Advanced knowledge of computer systems: ERP, Office, MS Project
• Experience in Construction Companies and Public Works
• BSc/MSc, PMP certification – advantage
• French mother tongue, English fluent mandatory
