Senior BD Manager – Renewable Energy

For a Subsidiary of Multi-national group, promoting projects in the energy sector and providing innovative solutions that enable countries to develop their economies and improve the quality of life of the populations.

Phénicia Conseil is looking for an ambitious and energetic Senior Business Development Manager to help our client to expand his activity in Ivory Coast and  the renewable energy market in Africa

He/She will expand business activities in Ivory Coast (expat or local)

Job Description:

· Building market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships

·Understand the local market, the forecast evolution for energy projects

·Discovering and exploring potential business deals

·Analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials

·Promoting meetings with key entities, building institutional and networking relationship with the decision makers

·Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities

·Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations

·Preparing technical and commercial proposals

·Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements

Skills and requirements:

·At least 15 years of proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role , possibly in the region

·BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field

·Proficiency in French, English, Baoule (advantage)

·Willingness to Relocate / Multiple Travel Abroad: or already located in Abidjan

·Background on the energy market (Production and/or Transmission)

·Sales track record

.Communication and negotiation skills

·Time management and planning skills

·Understanding in project financing
