Phénicia Conseil for a subsidiary of multi-national group who designs, builds and implements projects around the world, and for one of its construction project in Senegal , is looking for a

PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICER/PMO

(M-W ) Local contract , Senegal

Responsibilities :

  • Supervising all construction activities on site
  • Project control through routines
  • Ensuring schedule control
  • Ensuring ongoing communication with the various interfaces (management, suppliers, customer, logistics, procurement)
  • Budget controlling & monitoring
  • Delegated building tasks and construction responsibilities as necessary
  • Ensure that all occupational health and safety regulations are being complied
  • Presenting project status
  • Issuing meetings summary and action items
  • Define the master framework, scope of Work & risk program
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies, construction and procurement procedures.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
  • Recruit subcontractors report to partners and verify quality on the ground
  • Manage all contracts relating to the project
  • Control and monitor all assessments requested by the financing entities

Skills and Education:

  • Civil engineering degree
  • Minimum 5/7 years’ experience in construction projects in Senegal – must!
  • PMI trained/certified – advantage
  • Ability to build project framework
  • Ability to issue project planning in writing
  • Ability to read & write Scope of work
  • Master in MS-project
  • French mother tongue, English fluent mandatory
  • Ability to create project status to management level
