PMO MANAGER

Phénicia conseil is looking for a PMO Manager based in Angola For a Group multi-national that is developing large construction projects in Angola, related to Housing, Social Equipment’s and Infrastructures with a vast overall experience in developing, designing, implementing and managing sustainable, long-term and large-scale turnkey projects in the African continent

Position Summary

• Lead all project development process since design, until contractor selection and contract signature
• General Project Design Coordination
• Procurement and Contract Formulation
• Responsible for direct and coordinate contracting process, including tender preparation, launching, offer analysis, negotiation and possible winner indication
• Contract Management Support
• Advise, support, and control the implementation of company projects policies
• Control the project activities mainly: project status, deadlines, and budget
• Update the weekly and monthly reports using the appropriate metrics and status
• Monthly Financial and Management Reports
• Analysis and reconciliation of supplier’s invoices
• Control the payment terms as per the contracts and POs conditions and support the Financial Controller in the end month close accounts process
• Track, control, and monitor projects performance, alerting for possible deviations and proposing actions to overcome

Skills and requirements

·     Civil Engineer, minimum 5 year’s experience

·     Experience in Design, construction, inspection of large-scale water projects

·     Experience working in water infrastructure projects,

·     General Construction Management Experience

·     Contractual Documentation Preparation Experience

·     Experience Working Abroad, Africa countries – preference

·     Methodical and Accurate

·     Dynamic, committed, responsible, professional

·     Portuguese mother tongue and English at professional level
