Industrial Construction Manager ( M/W)

Expat contract, based in Morocco-  Khemisset

 Job Purpose

The Construction Manager , CM ,is representing the company on site , reporting to the Manager of Construction. The CM provides leadership and management of all contruction activities from small to Medium size (< 1 Billion $) project site by leading a multi -discipline team of supervisors, HSSE, Field engineers, quality and subcontractors personnel. He/She will implement the established  policies, procedures, systems and requirements on site and reporting to the board and directors.

Responsibilities

• Representing the company on site, in cooperation with the Project Manager
• Ensure the approved Manpower plan is stuffed up , managed, trained and developed
• Identify and align the goals, objectives, KPI’s and responsibilities of the team and Sub Contractors, including HSSE, costs scheduled and quality
• Review and assess performance of team members, providing feedback and acting as coach and mentor for high protential construction personnel
• Ensure the approved HSSE policies are manteined and respected
• Manage relation with different stakeholders internal and external
• Responsible of contractual, legal scope clarification invoice matters that might have impact of any project parameter
• Monitoring and reporting the system is in place, conducting monthly and weekly project meetings
• Review and reply on RFI, technical queries and other engineering matters
• Generate a site risk register and identify and mitigate risks to which the project could be exposed, also organising Risk Management Meeting
• Managing all procurement aspects including ROS dates vs ETA dates, Vendor presence and procurement reporting

 Education and experience

• Bac +4/5-BS in Construction, Engineering preferred
• State Engineering Diploma or equivalent of any engineering discipline
• +10 YEARS experience and minimum 5 in the Field
• Preferred: strong experience in Industrial/Petrolchimical Construction/ Mining and Management
• Proven experience within the construction field and working on different type of projects
