For a subsidiary of a Multinational Group who is specialized in Medical infrastructure projects in Africa with an extensive hands on experience in planning , contructing, equipping, supervising, integrating, managing and operating hospitals, clinics, medical institutes and other healthcare projects

Phénicia Conseil Group is looking for Chief Financial Officer- CFO

Expat contract, based in Luanda, Angola

The CFO will be based in Angola and responsible for the Local Medical institute’s finances results and control. He/She will report directly to the CEO

Job Description:

Full financial function of the subsidiary of the Medical Structure, including but not limited to:

• Supervise and manage multidisciplinary teams including invoicing, billing and debtors
• Active role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and cost control
• Active and involved in supply chain, Purchase orders authorization, reconciliation of accounts and payments
• Able to develop business plans for growth projects
• Active involvement in pricing negotiations and negotiations with third parties
• Able to work with people, willing and able to mentor and coach
• Team player and people skills
• Active member of the management team and CEO 2IC

Mandatory skills and requirements:

• Financial qualification and registration with statutory body in country of origin
• Knowledge of IFRS and other best accounting and reporting practices as applicable in country of origin
• Previous experience and proven track record in a similar position such as : healthcare structures , Medical Center, Hospitals etc.) of at least 8-10 years
• Good communication with staff & clients
• Systematic, well organized
• Bilingual Portuguese/ English is a Must!
