Local Contract, based in Abidjan, also responsible for Senegal

As CFO He/She will operate, maintain and manage the finance department of the group’s activities in Ivory Coast and Senegal

Job responsibilities:

  • Active role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control
  • Cash Management, Financial Accounting and Supporting the Corporate Finance Competence
  • Financial planning and record-keeping, analysis of data, budget management
  • Implementing the Local financial and tax strategies. supporting also Group needs
  • Manage the accounting, investor relations, tax, and treasury departments
  • Monitor reliable control systems including ERP
  • Ensure that the company complies to legal, compliance,regulations.
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of the auditors and government regulation
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and to adhere to all local regulations
  • Manage the finance dept’ (5 and growing)
  • Preparing Financial Reports for the management
  • Discussion with local tax and regulated institutions for the ongoing activity, requests and challenges
  • Active and involved in supply chain, Purchase orders authorization, reconciliation of accounts and payments. part of the Authorized person in the system

Skills, Experience and Education :

  • Mother tongueFrench, Fluent in English – Mandatory
  • Accounting degree and valid CPA License –Mandatory
  • At least 8-10 years of experience as CFO in a global company with complex activity, preferably a turnkey projects company
  • Working experience in Ivory Coast and/or Senegal.
  • Deep understanding of the Local accounting system and taxes
  • Previous experience in managing a team of at least 5 employees
  • Experience with import and export procedures
  • Ability to develop business plans for growth projects
  • Team player with excellent communications skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, complex group
  • Commercial understanding and experience to assist the project companies and service company
  • Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) requirements
