GENERAL MANAGER

Phenicia Conseil is looking for a General Manager for a Subsidiary of an International Group, global leader in his industry (electrical and electronic area) and with a Global presence

POSTE:

The General Manager Ivory Coast is responsible for overseeing and managing the full operational local plant’s production, for sales & marketing development, financial, HR and legal affairs and supported by his local team.
You Develop, propose and execute the country strategic plan, being fully responsible for the results by respecting local regulations and corporate policies
-Review market development and analysis customers’ needs with a short-, medium- and long-term view
-Develop the sales of all offered products / services and especially those produced in his/her unit(s) with a special attention given to sales volume and to commercial margin
-Anticipate risks, propose and implement mitigation measures
-Develop human resources to ensure development for their own benefit and benefit of the company, build a favorable climate for efficient work and for making the subsidiary, as a preferred employer on the local labour market.
-Support the Group management culture and corporate values: making them alive by leading by example
-Support country and local sustainable business development by lobbying and public affairs actions in coordination with the company’s policy

The role is based in Abidjan-Ivory coast,this is a local contract with a flat,car,bonus..

PROFIL:

Diploma in Engineering/Process Engineering/ Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing preferred, other degrees also possible, MBA preferred
At least + 10 years of experience in the Industrial sector, at least 5 in Executive roles with a Business Development and sales background
Proven experience in working in Africa/West Africa /Ivory Coast and within structured International Groups
English and French as a Must! Other languages advantage
