Role Overview:
We are looking for a GENERAL MANAGER for an International polymers trading & distribution company to lead commercial, operational and administrative activities in Côte d’Ivoire and across the ECOWAS region. reporting directly to the CEO, the GM will drive business growth, supplier partnerships and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the company’s commercial strategy and operations in West Africa
- Develop relationships with global polymer suppliers (Middle East, Asia, USA)
- Manage sourcing, contract negotiations and trading activities
- Expand business with industrial, packaging and construction-sector clients
- Supervise and develop the local management team
- Monitor market trends, pricing and supply chain dynamics
Profile :
- Strong experience in polymers, petrochemicals or chemical distribution
- Solid understanding of international trading and supply chain management
- Proven leadership and business development skills
- Knowledge of Francophone West African markets is a strong advantage
- Fluent in French and English
Additional Information :
- Permanent local contract
- Regional & international travel up to 35%
- Direct report to CEO
