 Administrative & Accounting Coordinator (M/F)

Local Contract – Uganda

Position Overview:

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination between the internal operations and external accounting partners, while safeguarding the integrity of financial, tax, and employment documentation. We are looking for a candidate who embodies discretion, precision, and unwavering reliability. The ideal professional will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability, and a commitment to ethical conduct in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and systematically organize all corporate documentation, including statutory records, financial reports, and compliance files.
  • Ensure accurate and complete HR documentation for all employees: contracts, payroll records, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and coordinate the submission of expense reports, invoices, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide administrative support for accounting and compliance-related activities.
  • Assist in the coordination of operational logistics and day-to-day office functions.
  • Oversee office management tasks: cleaning services, food and furniture supply, team events, utilities, landlord relations, security, and key control.
  • Manage and maintain office inventory, ensuring proper tracking and replenishment.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to communications from internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by Management, aligned with the organizational work plan.
  • Uphold and promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct across all stakeholders—strictly prohibiting corruption, bribery, or misconduct.

 Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative coordination, accounting support, or compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; strong email and digital communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • In-depth understanding of documentation protocols, filing systems, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and professional ethics.
  • Ability to work independently with discipline, while fostering rigor and accountability among colleagues.
  • Comfortable collaborating with international teams across multiple time zones.
