LFP – Legal Focal Point

The role

The Division Legal Focal Point will be the primary point of contact to liaise with the corporate legal and compliance teams for all legal and compliance issues.

This includes preparation of all annexes to the contracts, collection of information from the division necessary for the preparation of the contract and communicating it to the legal department; collection of relevant information from other corporate units (finance, procurement, HR, insurance etc.); representing the division companies in negotiation with third parties according to the instructions and supervision of the corporate legal team; offering first-line of legal response to the division companies on legal questions.

Skills and Experiences

• 6-8 years of experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment (in-house or through a law firm).
• Knowledge and understanding of commercial law / contract law.
• Basic understanding of accounting/financial terms.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Experience in work in an international company.
• Experience in EPC contract or work in other project company.
• Multitasking abilities and capabilities to work in stressful environment.
• Experience in work in an international company.
• Experience in EPC contract or work in other project company.

Languages – Portuguese mother tongue, excellent English (speaking and writing)

Education – BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree
